At the traffic safety section of the City Cyclist Conference on the 21st of May a professional debate started to form around the connection between infrastructure and traffic safety (especially relating to the role of direction) and the difference of importance between feeling safe subjectively and objectively. Due to shortness of time the subjects could not be fully explored therefore we would like to provide the opportunity for the continuation of the debate.
Opening the forum, Erzsébet Hóz (KTI) will hold her presentation called "The safety questions of cyclist infrastructure" in full length and Zsolt Barna (Értékterv Kft.) will talk about the changes to cyclist infrastructure brought about by the new cyclist Technical Specifications for the Road, especially regarding choosing the type of facility. After the presentations a Q&A will be held for the audience. The forum does not aim to make decisions but only to widen the view of participants by confronting different opinions.
