Federation of National Private Transporters (NiT Hungary)

Based on the "partners on the road" principle, the goal of our event is to demonstrate how mutually reliant the participants with differenct capabilities are and to raise awareness on paying attention to each other, drawing special attention to the interaction between heavy vehicles and vulnerable participants of traffic - especially the youngest of age groups.

The main message of the competition is that the accidents occuring because of differences in size and speed can be prevented if the participants see and appraise the traffic situation from each other's point of view. Accordingly, the program's main focus is on the heavy vehicles (such as heavy goods vehicles and buses) and on the most endangered participants of traffic, children who walk or ride the bicycle.

The programme is unique amongst the multitude of traffic safety activities since the children can enjoy a hands-on experience with the heavy vehicles in a safe and controlled environment. They will be able to experience from the driver's seat of the heavy vehicle how a driver percieves the nearby pedestrians with the vehicle's given speed and in different visibility conditions. Our main goal for the competition tasks is to let vulnerable traffic participants feel personal emotions in reaction to a moving heavy vehicle's driving behaviour, movement dynamics, manouverability and breaking capacity or the driver's field of view, conditions of perception, and conecpts such as reaction time, stopping distance or blind spots and mirror blind spots.

This will be demonstrated to the children who visit us through practical examples and playful tools (board games, Highway Code sign crafting, memory games, tests, scooters, drunken glasses).

The "star rally" is a form of motor riding where riders from different areas of the country, from different, towns and cities all - at the same time - ride to a central well approachable, attractive destination - in this case to the Hungaroring. Everyone's starting time depends on how far their starting location is from Hungaroring.

The main goal is to ride along the competition strip used by famous sport motorcyclists, Formula 1 and rally car drivers who have given us many enjoyable moments competing there.

It is also important to talk about how we got to know each other from the separate rider organizations around the country and how we discussed our agendas.
In 2018 369 riders from 32 rider organizations and 98 passengers (in total 467) took part at the event

We are creating a rider lifestyle that provides a foundation for the prevention of public road accidents.

There are various models of mobillity management in Polish cities. This is reflected in management models of public transport. In towns where there are organized form of public transport, one can distinguish a transport organizer who:
- using tender tools, outsources services to internal and/ or external entities,
- commissions transport taskes to its own internal entity,
- outsources services to external enterpreneurs.
In other, usually smaller urban centers, there are no organized forms of public trnsport.
This means that residents must independently meet their transport needs.
The workshops are addressed to people who manage public transport in the cities of theWest Pomeranian and Lubuskie voivodships. In these areas, 66 and 43 cities are located respectively. However, public transport operates in 9 cities of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship and 4 in Lubuskie.

The goal of the workshops:
Presentation of management models of public transport in cities.
Evaluation of management models of public transport.
Possibility to implement management models in the light of the experience of cities with functioning public transport for urban areas deprived of organized form of public transport.
